A Happy amateur photographer, with no experience or training and a very cheap digital camera!. I love nature and the countryside and everything that lives, breathes, grows and do my best to capture the little things that make me glad to be alive. I try to draw and occasionally paint - some more of that later when time allows maybe.

A superb image of this very impressive abbey. The inclusion of the people gives perspective and shows what a great place this must have been. Voted for in the contest RUINED CHURCHES IN THE UK in the group Best of British.

Thank you for your kind words, this abbey has such a great atmosphere, I am glad if I have captured even just a small part of that, you can just feel the history in every single stone.

Even in ruins this structure remains are still yet so magnificent...I can only imagine what it must've looked like back then.
